THE RUNDOWN
- Last night, Taylor Swift performed for the first time in months at Travis Kelce’s Tight Ends & Friends concert in Nashville.
- Swift and Kelce posed with friends and performers at the event, and Swift wore a flirty little black dress for the occasion.
- The couple made an unofficial red carpet debut at the welcome reception for Kelce’s Tight End University on Monday night.
Taylor Swift took the stage to perform for the first time since her Eras Tour wrapped—and she did it for her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Swift sang “Shake It Off” at his Tight Ends & Friends concert at Nashville’s Brooklyn Bowl last night. She chose to wear a little black EB Denim dress onstage—a piece that has since sold out.
Her longtime friend Abigail Anderson Berard shared footage on her Instagram Story:
Us Weekly also reported that Swift and Kelce had a double date with Anderson Berard and her husband; footage emerged on social media of the two couples arriving at the concert together.
Swift playing at the show was a surprise. Performer Kane Brown shared a photo of himself with Kelce and Swift, writing, “When you think you’re the special guest BUT you’re not 😂”
Swift was in good spirits all night. She appeared with Claire Kittle, Sierra Pearson Wyrick, and makeup artist Arbella Yousif in one shot:
In a second Instagram, she photobombed Kelce, who was posing with Tommy Banker and
Ian Thomas. “As taylor said to me, its a crochet summer,” Banker captioned the shot.
Swift’s appearance comes after she and Kelce made an unofficial red carpet debut at Monday evening’s welcome reception for Tight End University, an event Kelce co-founded in 2021. A source told Entertainment Tonight that the couple appeared very smitten inside the party.
“Taylor and Travis kept things low-key, staying mostly towards the back of the VIP area, laughing and mingling with close friends,” the eyewitness said. “[They seemed] very much in love.”
Kelce and Swift will celebrate their two-year anniversary later this summer. A source told People on June 12 that Swift is looking forward to her partner’s upcoming NFL season with the Kansas City Chiefs “not just because she loves supporting Travis, but because for the first full season since they started dating, she’s not juggling a packed tour schedule. This fall will be completely different. It’s the first season where she’s not constantly flying back and forth or working around an entire touring calendar.”
The insider added that “Taylor plans to be at as many of his games as possible. They’ve both had such demanding schedules for so long, so having this stretch of time where things aren’t quite as chaotic feels like a welcome change.”
