Emma Raducanu is best known for dominating the tennis court, and that’s intentional. Throughout her life, the 22-year-old British player has primarily focused on her career and has said that while growing up, her parents were “pushy” and preferred that she prioritize the sport over romantic relationships. “My parents were very much against [boyfriends] as it interfered with training,” she told The Times in 2024. “When I was younger, I wasn’t even allowed to hang out with my girlfriends. A lot of the time, I was very resentful. But it made me very confident and comfortable in my own company, which is also a big strength.”
But although dating isn’t one of her highest priorities, the currently single athlete has been publicly linked to someone before. Here’s everything we know about her dating history so far.
Carlo Agostinelli
Raducanu and Carlo Agostinelli reportedly met in May 2023. A few months later, in September, they were photographed arm in arm at the Dior show during Paris Fashion Week. (Agostinelli’s mother, Mathilde Favier, is a PR executive at Dior Couture. His father, Robert Agostinelli, is a billionaire financier.)
By June 2024, however, the couple had split. The Sun, a British tabloid, first reported the news and claimed that Raducanu had blocked Agostinelli on Instagram. A source told the outlet, “Emma has 2.4 million followers on Instagram, but Carlo is no longer one of them.” The insider added, “It seems their relationship has run its course.”
Agostinelli has not been publicly linked to anyone since his relationship with Raducanu.
Carlos Alcaraz
Raducanu and fellow tennis player Carlos Alcaraz were speculated to be an item after fans shipped their romance, but the 2025 US Open mixed doubles partners have since debunked the rumors.
In a June 2025 press conference, Raducanu assured reporters that the two were “just friends.” Alcaraz revealed his relationship status in a July 2024 interview with The Times. “I am single,” he said. “I am looking for someone. It can be difficult as a tennis player to meet the right person because you are traveling all the time.”
Their last US Open match was on Aug. 19, 2025, and they unfortunately lost to Jack Draper and Jessica Pegula. Raducanu was a good sport about it though, and thanked Alcaraz for being a great partner on Instagram, writing that she had “so much fun.”
