Severance’s Britt Lower is a Best Actress in a Drama Series nominee at tonight’s Emmys, and she certainly dressed the part. The star stepped out on the red carpet in a burnt copper Calvin Klein Collection gown with an open V-shaped back. The silk look is inspired by a silhouette at the brand’s spring 2026 runway show, which Lower attended on Friday, September 12.

Severance has 27 nominations, the most of any show this evening. Lower’s co-stars Adam Scott, Zach Cherry, Patricia Arquette, Jane Alexander, Gwendoline Christie, and Merritt Wever also earned acting nods. This is Lower’s first Emmys nomination.
In August, Lower spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about why she thinks Severance has been such a successful series. “I have so many answers, but the best one I can think of is that it’s a show about what makes us human,” she admitted.
“I have this part of me that just wants to make a nest all the time and hunker down,” she added. “And then there’s this other part of me that just always wants to be driving across the country with my trailer hitched to the back of my car and, like, exploring things. So I have these two sides: the rule follower versus the rebel. I think most people do.”
The outlet reported that in her own personal life, Lower is newly married to a British hairstylist, and they live in Brooklyn with her stepchildren. The star wouldn’t say much about that, quipping, “In the spirit of Severance, I do like to keep my private life separate.”
