THE RUNDOWN
- Meghan Markle’s brand, As Ever, shared a sunny photo of the duchess gardening in a breezy shirtdress and sun hat.
- The Instagram post came days after Meghan’s 41st birthday tribute to Prince Harry on September 15.
- The couple’s nonprofit, the Archewell Foundation, recently donated to the World Health Organization.
Meghan Markle’s latest garden photo is part-style moment, part-timeline cleanser. On Wednesday, her lifestyle brand, As Ever, shared a sunny Instagram post of her tending to strawberry plants in a terracotta pot. The Duchess of Sussex wore a sky-blue button-down shirtdress with rolled sleeves, pairing it with brown flats and a wide-brimmed sun hat, one of her signature accessories. “Seasons shift, but the garden stays magic,” the caption read.
The relaxing picture mirrors a recent snapshot of Meghan working in a garden. On September 10, As Ever posted a photo of her standing amid marigolds and greenery while wearing a white button-up and, fittingly, a straw sun hat.
The latest peek into Meghan’s California lifestyle comes days after she dedicated an Instagram post to Prince Harry. The With Love, Meghan star shared a picture of her husband, who turned 41 on September 15, from his time in the British Army. “Oh hi, Birthday Boy 🔥,” she wrote.
Meghan, who launched As Ever earlier this year, also celebrated her 44th birthday last month. She shared a photo of herself leaning toward a flowery cake, captioning the moment, “Blowing out the candles on a beautiful 24 hours, and thanking my husband, friends and family for making it so special. To those of you I don’t know, but who send love every day—thank you so much. Please know I feel it and appreciate it.” The private gathering was hosted at the Beverly Hills restaurant Funke, which Meghan said served one of “the top five meals of my life.”
Meghan and Harry are also continuing their philanthropic efforts. Last week, their nonprofit, the Archewell Foundation, donated $500,000 to the World Health Organization to help support injured children in Gaza and Ukraine. The announcement coincided with Harry’s four-day visit to the U.K., where he attended different charity events, including the WellChild awards.
On-screen, the Duke and Duchess are set to appear in The Happiest Story on Earth: 70 Years of Disneyland – 20/20 Special Edition. The ABC News broadcast, premiering September 21, will commemorate the theme park’s anniversary. “Space Mountain was one of my favorite things,” Harry says in a trailer for the special—to which Meghan replies, “It’s still one of your favorite rides.”
The couple visited Disneyland earlier in the summer to celebrate their daughter Lilibet’s fourth birthday. On June 6, Meghan posted family photos with siblings Lilibet and Archie at the theme park, writing, “Thank you @disneyland for giving our family two days of pure joy!”
